Boundless Code Of Conduct

At Boundless we strive to create a space for community and events that are safe, inclusive, and allow for people to be themselves and explore their own sexuality and kink. While we do everything we can to promote our culture, consent, and provide the framework, this is also dependent upon everyone who attends our events to understand our culture of consent.

As a member of the Boundless community, we expect you to conduct yourself in accordance with these three very simple principles:

Take Responsibility for Yourself

At Boundless we expect you to think about what you need, plan for your needs, and take care of yourself. This environment is, by design, challenging. We expect you to take that into consideration when planning your self-care.

Only you can fully understand what your comfort levels are. We ask you to come to our event as prepared as you can be for successful negotiation and self-care.

That said, if you need help please reach out to those who can support you – and to us.

We expect you to take responsibility for your level of intoxication. We expect you to make sure you are never too intoxicated to behave responsibly toward the community and to engage in self-care.

Take Responsibility for Your Behavior Toward Others

You are not required to add to anyone’s experience, and no one is required to add to yours. However, we expect that you treat everyone you meet with kindness and consideration.

As a part of our community we expect you to promote anti-racism, anti-sexism, and gender equality. We expect you to consider social power dynamics when interacting with other community members.

You must adhere to our negotiation guidelines and consent policies for all your interactions with individuals attending our events, including all social, BDSM, and sexual activities.

We expect you to carefully consider the level of intoxication of your potential play partners. We expect you to ask potential play partners about their current mental state and to err on the side of caution before engaging in play.

Take Responsibility for the Venue

There are very few places that allow us to do what we do. It’s a privilege to use these spaces and it is on us to take care of it. We are guests and we must treat the hosts and venue with regard; our actions will impact future use at these unique locations.

If something doesn’t seem right, you are encouraged and empowered to speak up or report that behavior to the organizers or event volunteers.

The code of conduct is a shared belief. Boundless and our event organizers will do whatever is necessary to keep our events a healthy and safe environment for all attendees. The organizers may remove those who are unable to adhere to these agreements.

We appreciate your desire to foster an environment based on taking responsibility for yourself, others, and the venue.
