So You’ve Bought a Ticket ANd CAN NO LONGER ATTEND

WE Understand that Things Do Happen

We understand that there will be times where you have bought a ticket for one of our events, and you may find yourself being unable to attend for any reason. If this is the case, we will do our best to work with you.

Please realize that many of our events require that we put down deposits to hold venues or services associated with the event. For these events, we will typically have periods where a full refund request can be made, and after that period only portions of the ticked prices may be refunded. Please refer to each event to clearly understand the refund and transfer policy.

Classes and educational events

For all Boundless classes and educational events, paid attendees may cancel and request a refund up to the time of the event. No refunds will be available once the class has begun, or after the event has occurred. When we receive your cancellation request, we will cancel your ticket and a full refund will be processed back to the original payment method that was provided at the time of purchase. Please contact Registration@boundlessevents.org or request your refund directly through Eventbrite.

BOUNDLESS play party events

For all Boundless play party events, paid attendees may request a cancellation and refund request up 72 hours before the event. No refunds will be available after that period, or after the play party has occurred. If a cancellation is made after the refund period, then credit towards a future Boundless event will be offered. Credits will be valid for a one year period; have no residual cash value and cannot be refunded once issued.     775The 2023 Boundless Retreat

    The Boundless Retreat is the largest event that Boundless produces and requires that we put down deposits with our venue, caterers, and other services in advance of the event to be able to provide the experience that you have all come to know and love. Given this, we do our best to allow for a policy that allows for refunds or transfers if you find that you’ve bought a ticket and can no longer attend. However, please know that there are specific dates and cutoffs for being able to receive refunds for the event.

    Refund and Transfer Policy for Retreat Admission

    The Boundless Retreat offers a tiered cancellation period for all attendees. These tiers are based on the d

    • All cancellation and refund requests are subject to a $75 handling fee per order.
    • Cancellations prior to April 30, 2023: The last day to receive a full refund for your admission fee is April 15, 2023. All cancellation and refund request prior to this date will receive a refund for 100% of your admission fees less the Eventbrite processing fees.
    • Cancellations prior to June 1 , 2023: All cancellation and refund request prior to this date will receive a refund for 75% of your admission fees less the Eventbrite processing fees.
    • Cancellations prior to June 30, 2023: The last day to cancel and receive a partial refund for your admission fees in June 30, 2023. All cancellation and refund request prior to this date will receive a refund for 50% of your admission fees less the Eventbrite processing fees. There will be no case refunds granted after June 30, 2023.
    • Cancellations after July 1, 2023: All cancellation requests after this date will be issued but no refund will be available. Any cancellation made after this date will be offered credit towards the next Boundless Retreat in the amount of the original value of your ticket less the Eventbrite processing fees and handling fee.

    Cancellation & Refund Process

    The following procedure must be completed in order to cancel registration and obtain a refund:

    • A written request for refund sent to Registration@boundlessevents.org.
    • Your request should include your legal registered name and your order number.
    • Once received, our Registration team will cancel your ticket and send a confirmation email upon completion of the cancellation request.

    Transfers for Admission Tickets

    Tickets may be transferred to other another guests up until July 28, 2023. Transfers cannot be made later than this date for any reason.

    • This is necessary so there is sufficient time to record the ticket transfer and the new owners can properly be processed and available at check in.
    • Payment and all financial obligations for all transfers are the responsibility of the ticket holder. It is the responsibility of the original ticket owner to make the request and get confirmation of the transfer.
    • Boundless will not be involved in the financial transfer between attendees, and the transferred ticket will be issued as a completely non-refundable ticket to the new attendee.

    Transfer Process

    The following procedure must be completed in order to transfer your registration to another attendee:

    • You must send an email to Registration@boundlessevents.org, cc’ing the transfer recipient on the original email.
    • Your request must provide your legal name by which you originally registered and your Order Confirmation number along with an authorization for Boundless to transfer your ticket to the new attendee.
    • Boundless will then reach out to the new attendee to confirm all of their information required to confirm their registration.
    • Once this is received, Boundless will cancel the original attendees ticket with a zero dollar refund value, and will create a new registration for a non-refundable transfer for the new attendee.
    • Once this is complete, Boundless will provide separate email confirmations to both the original ticket holder and the new attendee.

    Credit For Future Events

    If you have bought a ticket to the Boundless Retreat and either the refund/cancelation window has passed, and you cannot find an attendee to transfer your ticket to, Boundless will offer you the ability to request to have your ticket cancelled and have the cash value of that ticket issued as a credit towards future Boundless events. If you do not wish to pursue a credit, then the original ticket will be non-refundable and have no future cash value. If you do choose to have a credit issued, the following restrictions will apply:

    •  The cash value of your ticket will be issued into a credit managed by Eventbrite, and that credit can be used towards any future Boundless events.
    • The credit will have a value for one year after the credit is issued. You must use this credit within that one year period to redeem its value.
    • After that one year period, the credit will expire and will have no future cash value.
    • Credits are non-refundable and have no cash value.

    Per Ticket Cancellation or Transfer Fee

    All cancellations, transfers and refunds requests are subject to a $75 per order handling fee.

    Refund and Transfer Policy for all Lodging

    Deadline for Canceling Lodging

    The last day to cancel and receive a full refund of your lodging reservation is June 30, 2022.

    • There will be NO cash refunds granted after June 30, 2022.

    Cancellation & Refund Process

    • A written request for refund sent to Registration@boundlessevents.org.
    • Your request should include your legal registered name and your order number.
    • Once received, our Registration team will cancel your ticket and send a confirmation email upon completion of the cancellation request.

    Transfers for Lodging

    All permanent lodging are transferable up until June 30, 2022.

    • Requests to transfer a cabin or bunk bed to another attendee must be made by sending an email to Registration@boundlessevents.org no later than July 28, 2022.
    • Cabin/bunk bed cancellation requests received after July 28 27, 2022 may be transferred to someone on the cabin waiting list at the discretion of the Boundless Registration team.
    • In this event, Boundless will make every attempt to contact a party on the waiting list and transfer the cabin to them, but we do not guarantee a transfer. If Boundless is unable to contact someone on the waiting list and transfer the cabin to them, the original owner will still be responsible for paying the full price of the cabin and no refund will be made.

    Transfer Process

    Per Ticket Cancellation or Transfer Fee

    All cancellations, transfers and refunds requests on lodging (cabins, wood tents, bunk beds, car camping, RV camping) are subject to a $50 per order handling fee.

    Credit For Future Events

    We are unable to issue credit toward future events for any Retreat Lodging if the refund / cancelation window has passed, or you cannot find an attendee to transfer your lodging to.

    Covid related cancellations

    We understand that Covid still presents risks to events similar to ours, and while we attempt to hold events as safely as we can, the choice to register and attend the event is left to the individual attendees. Given this, the following cancellation and refund procedures will be followed for all Covid related situations:

    • ​If the event has to be canceled in its entirety due to Covid related reasons, all attendees will have their paid registration credited towards a future event.
    • If an individual cannot attend due to testing positive prior to the event, the ticket may be canceled according to the general cancellation policies for the event. Tickets can be also transferred to another attendee if in compliance with the general event transfer policies. 
    • If an individual tests positive for Covid at the event, entry to the event will be denied and the attendee will have their paid registration amount credited towards a future similar event.
    • All event credits will be valid for one year and must be used within that time, or the credit will be forfeited.
