Volunteer with Boundless

Boundless is growing in 2024, and we are looking for volunteers with diverse skills and identities to help make Boundless bigger, better, kinkier, and more inclusive.  

We’re a volunteer organization at all levels and rely on the strength of our community and the generous hearts of our volunteers.  From Food to Finance, Classes to Conduct, and Activities to Admin, volunteering is fun and fulfilling and you’ll make deeper connections within the community.  Volunteer for a one-time event like our parties or retreat or take a larger role in helping grow our organization and community.

Organizer Opportunities

The Activities Lead and Deputy role supports the coordination and execution of all Boundless and member led activities at the Boundless Retreat. This includes activities such as official socials, games, skill shares, and Boundless YOU•NIVERSITY activities.

The Classes Lead & Deputy work to identify, schedule, and coordinate our class education offerings. 

The Community Engagement Lead and Deputy work to find ways to reach and expand the Boundless presence with the Bay area. This includes organizing our Happy Hours and Munches and coordinating hosts.

The Dungeon Deputy works together with the Dungeon lead to care for the needs of our play spaces including equipment purchasing and maintenance, place space setup, identification and scheduling of our dungeon masters for the parties and retreat. 

The Events Deputy works together with the Events lead to oversee the management, planning, and execution of our play parties and the Boundless Retreat. This includes contract and venue management, project management and oversight for our play parties and the Boundless Retreat.

The Food Deputy positions work together with the Lead to coordinate and oversee the food that is offered at our play parties and the Boundless Retreat. This includes identifying and procuring food for our parties, setup and cleanup of the food at parties, coordination of the catering services for the Boundless Retreat.

The Tech Lean position is responsible for overseeing and managing the IT / Technical infrastructure for the Boundless organization, involving support of ongoing platforms (Google Business), evaluating new technical needs and platforms, onboarding and offboarding Boundless members, and additional items as needed.

The Medical Deputy works with our Medical Lead to ensure that Boundless has the appropriate medical personnel and coverage to support our play parties and the Boundless Retreat.
